In 2024, 14 students (with guidance from their NSTP adviser) who called themselves ARKIBuO researched on and created an exhibit featuring some of the Bantayog martyrs and heroes, with audio guides accessed through QR codes. They did in fact show the exhibit for a week at the Palma Hall Lobby. They built for Bantayog a digital map of the places of death of most of our martyrs and heroes. They scanned for our library and archives. They helped promote Bantayog ng mga Bayani with a Facebook page. And to top it all, ARKIBuO raised their own project fund by selling cookies and tickets to friends and classmates. We have nothing but admiration for this batch of NSTP students we have worked with. Sharing here photos, archives of their work, and also their digital map output.

Here’s what the students has to say about their project ARKIBuO:
ARKIBuO started as a brainchild between different people who collaborated in order to uphold the UP Diliman College of Social Sciences and Philosophy’s goal: to resist against historical distortion and to ultimately reject tyranny.
Despite coming from different colleges, departments, and even demographics, the ARKIBuO team was united in fulfilling the ideals of this project. Without the members of ARKIBuO, the project will not be”buo” or complete.
The core of this project is to ensure the “Kolektibo, progresibo, buo” spirit. Kolektibo, which means that we move together in a collective, all together, one spirit. Progresibo, meaning that we should fight for progressive goals as the scholars of this country. Ultimately, these will contribute to the “wholeness” of the project, making it “buo.”
But as always, let us not forget one more thing—“tao” because at the end of the day, we are humans. And as humans, we should practice humility and compassion. We will continue to uphold the key principles that ARKIBuO fostered as we move forward.
Never again, never forget! Never again to Martial Law!
